Tips for Mixing Cocktails

A holiday party is only as good as its cocktails! These tips will help you up your cocktail game so you’re the host with the most.

Bigger isn’t better

Use small glasses for your cocktails. Big glasses will mean less mixing, but your cocktail will be warm by the time you’re halfway through.

Chill your Glasses

Another way to ensure your cocktails stay cold is to place glasses in the fridge a couple of hours before you need them.

Shake it Baby

Use more ice when shaking your cocktail to ensure it’s properly chilled. Add the ice last so it won’t dilute your drink. Shake the cocktail vigorously until condensation covers the outside of the jigger.

Quality First

Using quality ingredients makes a better cocktail. You can get a full list of our top-notch drink choices here.

Taste Test

Measure your ingredients carefully to ensure consistency. Pour out a little taster to check you’ve got your ratios right before you serve our cocktails. You can still fix your cocktail as long as it’s in the jigger, but don’t take too long or the ice will begin to melt and dilute your cocktail.
