Halloween Cocktails to Get You in the Spirit

Get your Halloween groove on with these spooky cocktails. You can add dry ice to any drink for a perfect Halloween drink, but dry ice should be handled with caution and can be dangerous. See tips for safe handing. 
 Halloween Sangria from Delish 

  • 3 Granny Smith apples
  • juice of 1 lemon
  • 2 blood oranges, sliced
  • 1 cup blackberries
  • 1 cup pomegranate seeds
  • 1 bottle light red wine
  • 3 cups Italian soda, either blood orange, orange, or pomegranate
  • 3 0z. creme de cassis
  • 1.5 oz. simple syrup

Slice apples into 1/2″-thick slices. Using a ghost-shaped cookie cutter, cut out 12 ghost-shaped apple pieces. Using a straw, punch 3 holes into each apple to form eyes and a mouth. Transfer to a medium bowl, add lemon juice to coat. 

Fill a large punch bowl with ice. Add apple ghosts, orange slices, blackberries, and pomegranate seeds. Add wine, soda, créme de cassis, and simple syrup and stir until combined. Serve cold. 

 Witches Brew from A Couple Cooks 

  • 1.5 oz Midori
  • 1.5 oz cointreau or triple sec
  • 1 oz fresh lemon juice
  • 1 small dry ice cube
  • cocktail cherry

Add the Midori, Cointreau and lemon juice to a cocktail shaker. Add 2 handfuls regular ice cubes and stir until cold. Strain the drink into a lowball glass. Garnish with a cocktail cherry. Add dry ice just before serving.

• Never touch dry ice 
• Use goggles and gloves 
• Store dry ice in a cooler but never in the freezer 
• Do not drink dry ice, wait until it dissolves before consuming your cocktail 
• Keep dry ice away from pets and children
