It’s sweater weather! Fall is the best season for bug-free walks in the woods, beautiful fall leaf vistas and… pumpkin spice cocktails.
Pumpkin Spice Martini

- 3 tsp cinnamon suger
- 1/4 cup vodka
- 1/4 cup Creme de Cacao liqueur
- 1/2 cup heavy cream
- 1 1/2 tsp pumpkin pie spice
Moisten the rim of your martini glasses and dip into the cinnamon sugar. Chill the glass for 20 minutes in the fridge.
Fill a cocktail shaker halfway with ice. Add the vodka, Creme de Cacao, heavy cream and pumpkin pie spice. Shake well and strain into your chilled martini glasses. Sprinkle lightly with additional pumpkin pie spice.
Pumpkin Spice White Russian

- 2 shots vodka
- 2 shots pumpkin spice creamer
- 1 shot Kahlua
- Whipped Cream & pumpkin pie spice for garnish
- 1 tsp pumpkin pie spice for the rim
- 1 maraschino cherry
Dip the edge of two glasses in water and then dip into the pumpkin spice.
Pour vodka, creamer, and kahlua into a large cocktail shaker filled with ice. Shake lightly until cold.
Pour into glasses and top with whipped cream and pumpkin pie spice.
Pumpkin Sazerac

- 2 ounces rye whiskey
- 1/2 ounce pumpkin syrup*
- 3 dashes Peychaud’s bitters
- Lemon twist for garnish
Chill a rocks glass in the freezer for 15 minutes.
Add the rye whiskey, pumpkin syrup and bitters into a mixing glass with ice and stir for 30 seconds.
Pumpkin Syrup
Add 16 ounces hot water, 3 1/2 cups granulated white sugar, 1/2 cup packed brown sugar, 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon, 1/2 teaspoon ground nutmeg, 1/2 teaspoon allspice and 20 sugar-cube-size lumps of freshly cooked pumpkin into a blender. Blend until the texture is smooth. Strain through a sieve and discard solids. Keep refrigerated.
