Summer has been good to us! As the long labour day weekend approaches, we have a selection of cocktails that are the perfect send-off to summer. You can get all the spirits you need for these sweet drinks from our Booze Bus warehouse.
The Booze Bus runs regularly from several pickup points in the GTA, across the border to our warehouse where you can buy booze up to 40% cheaper than LCBO prices—and that includes taxes and duties!
Whiskey Smash
This lovely recipe comes to us from liquor.com.
- 3 lemon wedges
- 2 ounces bourbon
- 3/4 ounce simple syrup
- 4 mint leaves
- mint sprig for garnish
Muddle the lemon wedges in a shaker. Now add your bourbon, simple syrup, mint leaves and ice, and shake until the drink is chilled.
Double-strain into suitable glass over ice. Garnish with a mint sprig.
Pink Lady Gin Cocktail

- 1.5 ounces gin
- 1/2 ounce applejack
- 1/2 ounce lemon juice freshly squeezed
- 1/2 ounce grenadine
- 1 egg white
- 1 maraschino cherry
Mix all of the ingredients in a shaker. Shake until the egg white is frothy.
Add ice to the shaker and continue to shake until the drink is cold.
Strain into a cocktail glass and garnish with a cherry.
Margarita
This classic cocktail comes from Bevvy.
- 1 ounces tequila
- 1 ounce triple sec
- 1 ounce lime juice freshly squeezed
- kosher salt & lime slice for garnish
Use the lime slice to wet the rim of the glass. Dip the glass in the salt so it sticks to the rim.
Mix ingredients in a cocktail shaker with ice until chilled. Pour into the glass without touching the salt rim. Serve.
