  • 1 small cinnamon stick, smashed
  • 1 cup spiced rum
  • 1/2 cup blood orange juice, plus slices for serving
  • 1 bottle Prosecco, chilled
  • Pomegranate seeds, for serving

Steep tea bags and cinnamon stick in one cup of boiling water for 5 minutes. Strain and cool to room temperature.

Vampire’s Kiss

  • 1 1/2 ounces vodka
  • 1 ounce Chambord
  • 1/2 ounce unsweetened cranberry juice
  • 1/2 ounce fresh lemon juice
  • 1/2 ounce grenadine
  • Granulated sugar and additional grenadine, for sugar rim

Sprinkle the sugar in one plate and the grenadine in another. Coat the rim of your glass in grenadine, then dip it into the sugar to coat the rim.  Place vodka, Chambord, unsweetened cranberry juice, lemon juice, and grenadine in a cocktail shaker. Add 2 handfuls of ice cubes and shake until cold. Strain the drink into the prepared glass.

For the tarragon simple syrup, place 1 cup sugar and 1 cup water in a small saucepan and heat until it just starts to boil. Add sprigs of fresh tarragon and simmer for 10 minutes, stirring occasionally. Remove tarragon and allow syrup to cool.
